Residence MO architecture - garden - interior
Designed for a blended family with four children, Residence MO brings generous family living together with a love for entertaining. The home feels warm and refined, with rich woods, expressive natural stone, and tactile finishes creating a distinctive material palette. Spaces are designed to bring people together, while still allowing every member of the family to find their own place within the home.

On the ground floor, warm wood tones are paired with Kalahari quartzite in the kitchen and bar cabinet. Travertine-look ceramic continues across the floor and kitchen island, creating a calm foundation for the richer materials throughout the home.
Two large sliding windows open the kitchen and dining area towards the terrace, allowing inside and outside to flow naturally into one another.
“A home made for family life, and everything worth celebrating.”
— Mieke Van Herck
The lower level was designed entirely around entertaining. A wine cellar with bar and an eight-seat high table creates a place to gather, while a lounge offers a carefully framed view of the owner’s Porsche. Next door, a private cinema with a high-end audio system completes the experience.
Rosso Levanto marble returns throughout the wine cellar, bedroom, and dressing, its deep red tones creating a recurring thread between the different levels of the home.
Upstairs, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an additional bunk room provide space for both family and overnight guests. The master suite takes on the atmosphere of a boutique hotel, with soft carpeting and a generous dressing.
The generous dressing, where his and hers areas are distinguished through material: light oak and Rosso Levanto for her, darker finishes for him.
The covered terrace was conceived as an outdoor room for year-round use. Underfloor heating and heaters extend the seasons, while acoustic panels make long evenings outside possible without disturbing the surroundings.
By continuing the interior flooring onto the terrace, the transition between inside and out becomes almost seamless.
